Braeside Building and Joinery were engaged on this project to provide the clients with a complete interior and exterior renovation on this large family home that overlooks a stunning bush landscape.

 

The scope of works includes a new bathroom, kitchen, living & dining area, fireplace and outdoor entertaining area.
 

The interior floors and expansive outdoor entertaining area were the starting point for this renovation where large travertine tiles were laid, mimicking the Hawkesbury Sandstone rock formations found in the neighbouring Sailors Bay Park. To maintain the connection to the sites natural surroundings, native spotted gum veneer appears throughout the joinery elements of the project which pop from the contemporary white polyurethane cabinetry that surrounds it.

 

White Silestone benchtops feature in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms custom vanity to keep the space feeling light and open.

 

The materials are chosen to compliment the view of the vast bushland with sharp, precise lines directing the occupants gaze out into the sprawling gum trees and hills.

The end result is nothing short of breath-taking, the spaces created seamlessly flow into each other allowing occupants and guests alike to enjoy them while taking in the stunning views.
