PROJECT: Northbridge - North Shore, Sydney
DESCRIPTION: full renovation of the first floor, including alfresco courtyard and balcony.
TEAMS INVOLVED: Braeside Building, Braeside Joinery
Braeside Building and Joinery were engaged on this renovation project and are delighted with the result.
The renovation consisted of new floors throughout the home as well as alterations to the existing walls, a new kitchen, laundry, butler’s pantry, entertainment unit, multiple bathrooms and a powder room.
The kitchen and butler’s pantry feature cleverly designed custom cabinetry that meet the needs of the clients growing family. There is a secret door/panel concealing the full-sized laundry which at a glance, looks like a wall.
A hydraulic window was implemented in the wall connecting the kitchen and garden allowing airflow and conversation to cross through the threshold.
In the completed new main new bathroom, the feature tile wall was placed by hand to ensure no 2 tiles were the same next to each other and the effort has certainly paid off! The stunning large window allows in all the natural light and gives the eye somewhere to rest.
A custom designed vanity has given the smaller 2nd bathroom the feeling of being much larger than it actually is along with streamlined cupboards top and bottom, a simple shower screen and classic white tiling.
The small powder room is simple, stylish and sophisticated with sleek lines of white teamed with black accents and anchored by the grey floor tiles.
Everything works together to create a spacious airy feel in this family home on Sydney's North Shore.
The end result is a stylish inviting North Shore home for a growing family.
The addition alone has given them on the ground floor:
3 renovated bedrooms,
3 interior living areas
large open plan family kitchen,
a seamless flow from the front verandah and separate front courtyard through the open plan living areas to the backyard and entertaining area.
