Project Description

Our Kirribilli project is at the cornerstone of elegance and luxury. Situated on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, directly opposite the Opera House and parallel to Sydney Harbour Bridge, this apartment renovation has it all.

The dwelling sits on the ground floor of the 60s-built apartment block and has a garden that runs all the way up to the sandstone seawall of Sydney Harbour. Prior to renovations the floorplan consisted of an open plan entrance, kitchen and living space with three bedrooms, a laundry, and two bathrooms.

The clients worked with Gilmore Interior Design to help re-imagine what their new apartment may look like.

The project saw Braeside Building and Braeside Joinery work closely together to completely gut and then renovate the apartment. The scope of works included levelling the floors and replacing all the existing floor tiles with a more contemporary product, transforming two of the bedrooms into oversized, his and hers walk in dressing rooms, a complete renovation of both bathroomsplus a powder room and the existing laundry, a decadent kitchen renovation, with custom joinery throughout. A standout combination of Briggs American Oak Veneer and CDK Portsea Grey, Honed Limestone truly set the benchmark for our future joinery works and have resulted in a fantastic finish.

The clients are incredibly happy with the renovations carried out by Braeside and it has been a pleasure to work in such a beautiful location.
